About
The Summer of 2024 Brings New Opportunity!
Are you spending your precious time trying to write fresh and compelling web content at the expense of more pressing business needs? If so, you’ve come to the right place!
Let me do the writing for you, so you can do what you do best—catering to your customers and clients. Especially now, with all the recent changes in search engine algorithms, web copy needs to be original, insightful, and actionable more than ever before. I’m good that way!
Meet Maysie
I love writing! I was in 5th grade when I created a Halloween poem that grabbed my teacher’s attention. Encouraged, I kept writing, won an essay contest, grew up, gave a few public speeches, and wrote more poetry. I even got compliments on random compositions, like condolence notes (really!) and a resume.
But, I didn’t start writing professionally until website design became popular. While my husband and I traveled as consultants for natural product development, web copy was often requested in the course of our consulting. That aspect of content crafting expanded to cover everything from insurance sales to artist cooperatives to dental sites, honing my ability to write creatively about any topic!
Fast-forward to 2020
As the world changed, our onsite consulting biz went on hiatus. So, I started writing from the copious notes we’d taken in our travels, and we created a wellness website. The site was online for 3 years, also featuring some travel articles, commentary, and recipes, much of which is now housed elsewhere on the web.
And guess what? I still love writing and have shifted to creating freelance content. I’m a regular contributing writer on a popular travel site, and I have additional clients for travel-related, wellness, and other website content.
